Embracing the true spirit of Accord, Mohammad Said applies analytics to life and his favourite sport—football. An avid fan of the Premier League, Mohammad Said takes as much thrill in the game as analyzing the matches and studying their strategy. He brings back these insights to his training sessions, making them fun and engaging.
Training has always been an integral part of Mohammad Said’s journey. During his tertiary education, he led a committee to oversee the planning, organization, and management of training for its members. His role in training continued through his days in National Service and at the Basic Military Training Centre. Even while he was with the Singapore Police Force, he took up various roles to manage and deliver training to his fellow officers. He translated this passion into his profession when he acquired an Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) qualification. He is also a Certified Stress Management Consultant.
At Accord, he is involved in design, case study research, development, and delivery of customized learning programs for clients.
At our analytics workshops, he assists the lead trainer in hands-on data analysis or data visualization, using tools like Excel (including pivot tables), Tableau, Power Pivot, Power View, Power BI and Qlik. He is also the Assessor Coach for Accord’s IBF-accredited 2-day workshop – ‘Analytics for Non-Analytics Professionals’. He is at ease training across levels, from fresh graduates to middle management.
Said is also an Associate Trainer with the Civil Service College (CSC), Singapore. He delivers courses on basic analytics including tools for open enrolment and in-house courses.
